The Government has announced that from 1 November 2017 there will be new scheme administrators replacing the Skipton Fund for applications emanating from hepatitis C infection in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. The NHS Business Services Authority (BSA) will be the new scheme administrator in England; the Northern Ireland Regional Business Services Organisation (BSO) will be the new scheme administrator in Northern Ireland; and the Velindre NHS Trust will be the new scheme administrator in Wales. The Skipton Fund will no longer be processing applications from 1 November 2017. Due to the length of time it takes to complete a new application, the Fund will therefore be unable to accept new registrations from 3 October 2017. Contact details for the new schemes will be made available on this website once they become available and new applicants should register with the relevant scheme at that time. For applications emanating from hepatitis C infection in Scotland, applications are being administered by NHS National Services Scotland.
